iCoolHunt takes the idea of social networking to a different level, enabling users to interact with ‘coolhunters’ around the world in a bid to track down all things ‘cool’. Whether it is music, art, design or anything else you can think of, you can not only find the latest discoveries of other users, but also post your own treasures.
When you’re out and about, simply use your iPhone’s camera to take a snap of something that catches your eye and upload it to iCoolHunt. Other users are then able to vote as to whether your find is cool or not, helping you to become a guru of coolhunting.
You also have the opportunity to browse through the finds that other users have uploaded and cast your own vote. You can browse through the latest uploads, or use the map facility to see what has been spotted in a particular area.
If another coolhunter seems to have similar tastes to you, you have the option of following them so you can keep up to date with their latest find. iCoolHunt is not only a great way to keep up to date with the latest trends, it is also great fun and a way of finding the bizarre, the beautiful, and the novel.
